NEW GENERATION OF LIGHT WARRIORS

More than 30 medical doctors from Jakarta and surroundings,Surabaya and surroundings,Bali,Lombok,Makassar,Palembang,Jambi and others got a gathering in Pelni Hospital, an old hospital situated in western part of Jakarta,the capital city of Indonesia.

The theme for live demo of laser in superficial skin lesions were coloured by a vivid demo of peripherasl blood analysis following laser therapy.
The lasers demonstrated were carbondioxide laser,Q- switch Nd:YAG,Erbrium Glass laser,Diode laser.Patient models were of verruca,naevi pigmentosus,skin tags ,tattoo.
A new generation of laser practitioners were born,however they should proceed to preceptorship programs developed by IKLASI.

LASER IN A RARE CASE OF NASOPHARYNGEAL NEUROFIBROMA

I want to describe an interesting case of nasopharyngeal neurofibroma sent to me (at last). This is a very rare benign tumor of the nasopharynx which I operated last week only. She is a young female aged 23 years complaining right nasal obstruction. Biopsy showed a benign tumor named neurofibroma.

I decided to resect the tumor by lateral rhinotomy approach, assisted by carbondioxide laser. A carbodioxide laser tell us: what you get is what you see,I decide to use it. Please enjoy how the case teach us in these pictures.
